Better Than Beans Iron Rich Smoothie Recipe
Makes 2 smoothies
Ingredients
2 cups spinach or kale
1 cup coconut milk (or other dairy free milk or coconut water)
I frozen, ripe banana
3 small or 1 large orange(s)
1/2 cup strawberries
2 tablespoons ground flaxseed (optional)
3-4 ice cubes if you want it really cold
1 tablespoon cacao nibs (optional)
1 tablespoon hemp seeds (optional)
Directions
Place the greens and milk in a blender and blend until liquified.
Add the banana, oranges, strawberries, ground flaxseeds, and ice. Blend.
Pour into jars or cups and top with cacao nibs and hemp seeds.
